I just want to be able to accept whatever he gives to me this year, and be able to view it through Christian eyes. I want to be able to see everything for what it is—a learning experience. I want to be able to diminish, and let Him get bigger and bigger in my life.
His grace. His love and understanding.
I’ll never grasp His ability to forgive and redeem me. He will never turn away, even though I will deny Him a thousand times over. I’m really struggling to accept that right now. But it’s the beauty of grace that makes life not fair.
SOOO good.
If you believe in Christ and want to truly follow him, watch this. This is wisdom.
I’m here to offer my insight (as much as that may be worth).
Also, I would love it if you guys came to me with prayer requests.
:D
Please include me in your prayers. I am having an extremely difficult time combatting the forces of Satan since I decided to be baptized in the Mormon church. I have been disheartened and discouraged greatly. Please just say a blessing to give me strength and perseverance in Christ. Thank you guys so much!
”As Christians, we are called on to live by the laws of man. But more importantly, we are called on to live by God’s law. He is our highest authority.
People who defend abortion say that a woman has the right to control her own body. But consider this. Each cell in your body has a unique genetic stamp. Whether a living cell is taken from your tongue or your toe, it contains the stamp of your identity. From the moment a sperm meets an egg, the cells which start multiplying carry their own genetic code, different from the mother’s. An unborn child is therefore not part of the woman’s body. It is a separate individual with its own genetic code. If it were a part of the woman’s body, it would have the woman’s genetic code.
Old Testament laws said if someone caused a woman’s unborn child to die, compensation should be paid. The unborn child was seen as more than just an extension of the woman’s body (Exodus 21:22-23).
For Christians, the issue is even clearer. The Bible says God formed you in the womb and prepared you for your life before you were born (Jeremiah 1:5). You were carefully made by God from the moment of conception (Psalm 139:13-16). The unborn are individuals known by God. No one has the right to destroy them.”
Edit: These are not completely my own views on abortion. I posted this specifically because I thought a follower of mine would be interested in what it said. I disagree with some of these views, and also believe that the subject of abortion is subjective to every woman. Stop spamming me with hate messages and rude comments, please.

I’ve posted this before. But if you are a true “Christian”, you need to watch this. If you believe you are following God and trying to be more Christ-like, watch this. This goes with my post “The Nature of Faith”.
Look at your life. Look at the love you give to others. Think about who those people are. Are they your family members? Your friends? Your significant other, or someone you like? Are they people in your class who seem nice? Are they people you see on the street who are kind or in need?
If your answer is yes to all of these, you are on the right path. But Jesus wants us to do something more radical:
“But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. […] If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them.” —Luke 6:27-28, 32
Love your ENEMIES. Wow. How powerful. Love those who seek to destroy you. Love those who put slander on your name, and those who gossip about you. Love those who give you disdainful glances. Love the ones who look down on you, who would love nothing more than to see you suffer, who HATE you. LOVE them.
And I don’t mean “love” them and then talk about them when they’re not listening. I don’t mean “love” them, but seek revenge because thats fair. You must give 100% love to these people that are not your friends, are not your family, and may even be a flat-out adversary to your spirituality! LOVE THEM. Because through your love, they will see God’s glory and His power and ultimately HIS love. Because through your love, you will strengthen your own spirituality and ability to reflect God. Because this is what Jesus wants from us as Christians. Because faith is not just about believing, but about obedience. And because, all in all, HE LOVED US FIRST.
I’ve probably said this before, but we need to have glory for God in EVERYTHING we do.
And part of the reason for this is so that we can reflect His glory at all times so people will look past us and see Him always.
Think about it this way: Do your friends know for a fact that you’re a Christian—ALL your friends, not just the ones from youth group? Do the people you have class with know that you know God, even if they don’t go to your church? People should know God through you and your deeds.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on it’s stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:14-16
I’m so tired.
And I just can’t shake it.
I’m tired in my bones, and in my mind, and in my heart.
And I just can’t rise up right now.
Can anyone suggest any bands or songs that I should buy from iTunes?
I’m deleting all my old music and replacing it with music that glorifies Him.
So far I’ve got some NeedtoBreathe, some Tenth Avenue North, Chris Tomlin, and Matthew West.
Thanks :)
If people don’t start telling me about what kind of posts I need to post to reach you or to help you grow in Christ, then I really don’t need this tumblr.
The whole point of this tumblr is to offer a little bit of Christian guidance. But, since I am not hearing any suggestions, people obviously don’t need my help.
I’m sorry if this is harsh, but I don’t need to spend my time on tumblr if I’m not benefitting anyone for God. Just reblogging and looking at cool inspirational pictures isn’t the point.
So, I’ll give it 3 days. If there is no need for me by then, that’s that. It’s up to you guys whether you want constructive help or not.
What kind of posts do you want to hear about?
Or is it worth it?
Edit: I realize that this is very harsh. And I apologize. But I feel that I have been spending too much time worrying about tumblr recently. I feel that I have not really been helpful or useful to my followers. And I when I sit down to write a post for you guys, I just can’t think of anything to write. There is just too much. I need help narrowing it down so I can help YOU specifically. Please understand my frustrations, and that I am trying not to take it out on you guys, but that I just don’t have any direction right now.
